Tim Anderson's Original Strength/Becoming Bulletproof

Post  Faustini on Thu Oct 10, 2013 8:15 am

I've just ordered Original Strength after reading quite a bit of Tim Anderson's blog stuff over the last few years. Pretty interesting stuff about re-sets to aid in mobility. There's some free PDF stuff available if anyone's interested, and after trying some of the crawling a while back I miraculously found myself getting out of my low-slung car without having to rock a couple of times for momentum. Basically my hip and low-back lack of mobility went away after just a couple of sessions of crawling8)  In fact it was so effective that I immediately stopped doing it and changed my routine up completely:lol: Gotta dial in some consistency to my training! Anyone else read and/or implemented his stuff at all?

Hi Peter,

Here's his blog. http://tasfitness.blogspot.com.es/

I'm trying to fit in 100 metre crawls x 10 sets while out on my dog walks most mornings and most of my chronic injuries/mobility issues are getting fixed (the latest one being a shoulder problem that's feeling much better which I attribute to simply strengthening all the stabiliser muscles rather than just pressing and push-pressing all the time).. Like the last time I was doing the crawling I again find myself moving effortlessly out of the motor without the aid of momentum. It really is incredible stuff (at least for me, up until now).

Here's a guy who's got a series on You Tube, which I think is very similar to Tim Anderson's stuff. I appreciate that on first look it all seems a bit lame, especially if you're a hardcore dude who just wants to race to 100 burpees or get a 3 x bodyweight deadlift, but I love this stuff now and it's gotta become a mainstay of my movement
