Agreed,it was an excellent spectacle...and inspiring too!

My daughter was working there,she said the atmosphere was brilliant,like one big party! cheers

as Brits our greatest attributes are pragmatism and stoicism.

The danger is that in some instances these attributes morph into cynicism and a will to fail.

GB did great. No question. It was a fantastic event and GB proved it can live with the best of them on the international stage.

Typically, some quarters are already bemoaning the "imminent post-olympics drop off." moaning muppets.
