Absolutely...just send 98 pounds (or international money order) to me and your secrets of the death punch will be sent in a plain brown wrapper. (sometime in the next millennium)

any punch can be a 'death punch' if it goes wrong ... (or right if you are an homicidal maniac)

what kind of question is that mate .. I have always admired your intelligence on here and when I have met you, but thats a bit of a stupid question in all blunt honesty mate, and no insult intended.

the so-called "Delayed Death Strike" exists YES .. a "Death Punch" is a misnomer, as if you punch a guy hard enough you can kill him with NO skill at all

the Delayed Death ouch does exists and if people call me a liar so be it .. what I do know is that I know it exists, but is as much use as a toffe fire guard

why strike a DELAYED death touch .. if someone is trying to stick a knife in my guts I want him dead NOW not tomorrow

I'll rephrase the question even though you answered me precisely is there a nerve in the body that someone has worked out that you can strike the cause someone to die. I'm aware that there are 100 easier way to do it with the barehands.

I got to to admit the first thing that flashed through my head at that moment is 'why bother?' which led to the question...

I'm my defence it seems that I posted that in the middle of a long weekend and we definitely three sheets to the wind

no worries mate

death from strikes can result from many things.. as already emntioned.

however the once 'famous/infamous' delayed death touch DOES have some truth around it.

the training for this, as you can imagine, is incredibly short of volunteers!!!

in China and some parts of Japan where it WAS taught, apparantly they used prisoners to test their skills on...

the basis of the strike is actually quite simple, and although I didnt train in it to any degree myself, merely 'covered' the mechanics when I was doing my 5th Dan in advanced Atemi-Wazas.

just as KO's can be 'induced' by many methods, some as simple as 'brain shake', Chokes, Strangles etc etc. .. there ARE impact points that can stimulate a shutdown of vital organs, causing a kind of 'shock-shutdown'.

whether this WOULD have worked we never found out, only by anectodal 'evidence', but there was a logic to the mechanics and anatomical knowledge.

but.. what use is it.. it is supposed to start a 'chain reaction' within the body, and (as we were informed at the time) could be 'timed' .. that bit I wasnt convinced about.

but the victim would be fully aware of the strike and if they desired could kill you quicker with a punch in the trachea!

a bit like 'what use is a modern Ninja?' .. their skills are from the past when technology wasnt available...

I found the actual study of the ways of harming human bodies very interesting, the anatomy, physiology and pseudo-science behind the whole concept.. yes very interesting, but probably totally valueless in reality

You are a brave man Dave... coming out on a SP forum and speaking of such things as

impact points that can stimulate a shutdown of vital organs, causing a kind of 'shock-shutdown'.

and 'chain reactions'

I'm with you... though I don't speak of it much because of all the misinformation that has been presented over the years by various gold diggers. I spent years researching, experimenting and experiencing what you speak of and it does work and can hurt like hell. The first time I was knocked out by a point strike... made a believer out of me and sent me down a path of exploration which turned out to not only be very educational. But it increased the effectiveness of my strikes and my Hapkido multi fold.

In the end, it's great information and I know it's place. Cool

thanks mate .. although there's nothing brave about it

I am a bit too long on the tooth to be anything other than as honest as I can be and say what I either know or believe.

at nearly 63 and with nearly 51 years in the martial arts, I have nothing to gain by talking or teaching bullshit

we all have our own unique experiences that are just ours, no one else can have experiences, so I can just relate study and teach what I have seen, experienced and learnt over those 51 years

I dont have an ego per se, but I am proud of my reputation whatever it is for a degree of honesty

thanks you for your comments sir
