I'll second that.

Anyone over in Fife should grab the opportunity to train with Stuart with both hands.

Well, that was rubbish...

I got totally lost, drove up a one way street, bloody Dunfermaline and mutlimap... lol! nearly a 40 mile round trip as well

Was a good session though. I took a lot from it. Stuart is a nice guy. We did a bit of clinch work and a few block/slip/whadyacallthem, punch defence drills intersperced with chunks of theory. Definitely worth the trip and I'll try and be back as often as I can.

Another thing I found very interesting was, having trained with Willie (Scott) for a few years now, there was bit of overlap in material (with amongst other things the Dave T lineage), but the perspective was quite different. It really underlined for me that no matter how good an instructor, there is always a lot to be gained from cross training with different people.

Also amused that it was just Steven and myself training. The first time I turned up at Alba Doranadair it was the same thing.

I can only hope Stuart gets as loyal a bunch of quality students in Fife as Willie now has training regularly.

Shengus,

Good on you for travelling through even if you did get lost, Stuarts one of the good guys and we need to support good instructors if we want build the community, Scotland has suffered from a lack of reality trainers now that we are getting some we need to be there for them.

I think of it as a put up or shut scenario, too many people choose not put up and not to shut up either.

Shengus

Thanks for the good right up. Appreciated, as are the kind words from Alan.
As Shengus said only a couple of people turned up but i was not really expecting more on the first night especially as there sports centre only gave me a couple of weeks notice of the start date, so very little time to get advertising done.

However it is a start and onwards and upwards as they say!
